Mission and Values

We believe that effective communication is vital to understanding between diverse language groups, good working practice and making services accessible.

When we communicate with people who speak English as a second language, we need to develop strategies for speaking and writing. These strategies must take into account the language needs of the other person.

When we understand more about our own use of language - and about the needs of others - our communication and relationships become more inclusive and productive.

Chalmers and Byrne Training supports organisations and individuals in developing strategies for more effective communication.

We offer practical, flexible and cost effective training which is based on years of experience in the field of language, research and training.
