No, VAT is not charged.
For in-house training, who arranges the venue?
Usually the organisation which commissions the training will organise its' own venue.
What equipment do we need to provide?
We will need you to provide a projector, screen (or suitable wall) and a flip chart. We can provide the audio equipment if you don't have a sound system in the room.
What areas do you cover?
We can go anywhere! Organisations cover the cost of transport - nearly always by train.
Will participants get a certificate?
Yes - we give attendance certificates for all our courses.
How do the courses contribute to my CPD?
Our training contributes to participants' knowledge and skills in communication, diversity and equality. The courses are non-accredited.
Is Lowering Language Barriers suitable for managers as well as frontline staff?
Definitely. Talking and writing in plain English is a relevant skill for everyone. Managers often have to explain policy and technical information to their staff as well as writing material which goes out to the general public.
